How to apply for Tamil Nadu Anganwadi Supervisor Recruitment 2023?

Interested candidates can apply through the official website- icds.tn.nic.in. All the applications will be entertained in offline mode. The steps to fill in the application form are as below.

1. Kindly open the official website http://www.icds.tn.nic.in
2. Click on the Anganwadi notification.
3. A new tab will open. Download the Application Form.
4. You are requested to fill in the required details in the Application Form and attach all required documents.
5. Pay the application fee through a debit card/credit card/ UPI. Select the mode at your convenience. For offline mode of payment, a bank challan is required. 
6. Send it to the address provided in the notification box.

Tamil Nadu Anganwadi Supervisor Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

All the eligible and interested candidates, kindly note the following details.

AGE Limit

The age criteria are different for each post. It depends on the post applied for.

• Aanganwadi  Worker- The age limit is 25 to 35 years.
• Aanganwadi Helper – The age limit is 20 to 40 years.
• Aanganwadi Mini Worker- The age limit is 25 to 35 years.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• A candidate is eligible if the matrix passed (10^th passed).
• Schooling should be done by a recognized board.
• Must be able to read the Tamil language.

PAY SCALE

• Payscale is different for each post.
• Anganwadi worker: For Aanganwadi workers it starts from Rs.2500 and goes up to Rs. 5000 per month.
• Secondary Anganwadi Worker: For secondary Aanganwadi workers pay scale starts from Rs.1800 and goes up to 3300 per month.
• Anganwadi Assistant: For Aanganwadi assistants pay starts from Rs.1300 and goes up to 3000 per month.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process is divided into different parts. In the first part, there is a written examination, and a personal interview taken by the higher authorities in the second part all the documents submitted by the candidates are verified in the third part.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

All interested candidates are required to submit a copy of the following documents-

• 8^th / 10^th / 12^th / Graduation Mark Sheet and CertificateAny other educational degree if obtained.
• Date of Birth {DOB} Certificate.
• Residence Certificate.
• Passport Size Photograph (scanned)
• Scanned Signature.
• Caste Certificate
• Widow Certificate
• Experience Certificate (if any) 

WRITTEN EXAM PATTERN

Aanganwadi Supervisor Examination consists of 3 stages.

1. Prelims
2. Main Exam
3. Final Interview

• A paper with Multiple choice questions comes for the examination. There is a negative marking so the candidate needs to be very careful.

The examination is for a total of 450 marks which is divided as follows.

1. Prelims 100 marks
2. Main Exam 400 marks
3. Final Interview 50 marks

• All the questions in the Prelims are based on General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and Reasoning topics.
• In the Main Exams, topics covered are English language, Tamil language, General Knowledge, and basic Arithmetic up to 10^th standard.
